Yerba Mate is known as vitality nectar of Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and recently the United States. Yerba mate is a well-known beverage widely consumed by people of South America. It is made from dried leaves of the Ilex paraguariensis tree which is a native South American tree. Zen’s Argentina Yerba maté is handpicked in the shade of the rainforest canopy – fresh & vibrant, not aged or smoked.
