How to brew Hawaiian Fruit tea:
There are two way to brew the tea, 1. Hot on ice & 2. Concentrated and diluted in cold water
1. Hot on ice:
Bring 1-2 tsp of the Hawaiian Fruit tea to a simmer. The water should turn a red. Stir the Hawaiian Fruit with a spoon so that it brews thoroughly, the Hawaiian Fruit should not stick together in the water. After 5-7 minutes in the hot water, use a filter and pour out the Hawaiian Fruit tea on ice. Total time should be 8 minutes
2. Concentrated and diluted in cold water:
Use 1 tablespoon of the Hawaiian Fruit tea in a 4 quart pot. Pour boiling water onto the Hawaiian Fruit. Let the Hawaiian Fruit sit in the pot for 25 minutes (longer it sits in hot water the stronger it becomes). Let the hot water cool down to room temperature; this typically takes between 25-35 minutes. Use a filter and pour out the Hawaiian Fruit tea. Dilute the tea with cold water with 20-40oz of cold water. Total time should be 40 minutes.
