History and Benefits:
Kava Kava root is a unique herb found in the tropic Fiji and South Pacific Islands. It’s most popular for its earthy and bold flavor, making it a great addition to our other sedative herbs and sleep blends: Dream of Flowers, Valerian Root, Premium Rooibos, and Passionflower. Kava Kava has been traditionally used to treat anxiety, moderate to severe difficulty with sleep, stress, achy joints and a variety of skin conditions. When applied topically, Kava Kava has been thought to aid in the healing of wounds, as well as a pain reliever for skin conditions. Extracts of 70% kavalactones may work to lower anxiety and aid in relieving stress. Legally, there are restrictions to what this powerful blend can be described as and recommended for. This is not the only herbal infusion that should or can be used for anxiety or insomnia. If you like this herb, you might enjoy our Tranquility Blend.
