Commonly referred to as “the Dim Sum” tea due to its popular use as a digestive aid after eating heavy or greasy meals. Pu-erh tea is made from the leaves and stems of the Camellia sinensis plant. This is the same plant that is used for making green, oolong, and black teas. Pu-erh Tea undergoes a long period of aging for better flavor. This particular grade of Pu-erh has been aged for +15 years.

Spelled Pu-erh or Puerh or Pu erh green tea is enjoyed by the Chinese as a health aid. This tea was featured on the Dr. OZ show.

Incredible tea.

Honestly, all their tea's are amazing. High quality, well packaged. Please try the variety of herbs and spices they carry as well. The Pu-erh tea is one of my favorites.

Pu-erh is less pungent

We enjoy the earthiness of Pu-erh tea. Our most recent purchase is not as umami-forward as what we have enjoyed in the past.

Pu-Erh Perfect

I love the pu-erh tea! I like that it is a smooth, caffeinated tea that stands up to milk as well as tastes smooth yet bold and flavorful. Some black teas are a bit bitter, but not this one. Zen's Teas are also cost effective (compare an 8 oz bag that lasts for MANY cups of tea to a small box of 14 or 20 tea bags you find in the grocery stores).
